Cool Reign exploded onto the Birmingham Christian music scene in 2007 with a powerful rock/blues sound and an unprecedented momentum. These small town folks have a big passion for the music they create and a heart for the lives of their audience. The passionate vocals of front-man Tim Wright (Gardendale, AL), along with “Thumbs” bass guitarist Ryan Hart (Birmingham, AL) and , drummer Brad Holliefield (Warrior, AL) bring rock solid rhythms, topped with unforgettable melodies and ripping leads from lead guitarist Steve Thomas, (Kinston, NC) leaves their audience hungry for more. Last but not least our beautiful harmonies come blasting away from our backup vocalist DeAnn Glass (Birmingham, AL) which gives Cool Reign their spiritual and exploding sound.

They live for the opportunity to reach out to their fans and to make a difference.

Cool Reign sounds like a mixture of Southern Rock, Blues combined with Contemporary Christian

 

Why Cool Reign and how the name evolved:

The name Cool Reign was created by Colyn Luchterhand in 2006 form the following scripture and believe me it fits!

Rev. 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and HE shall Reign for ever and ever.
